Submissions
Guidelines:
* Up to 1200 words per post.
* No current or deceased cast members (as listed on the Cast page). For other cast members, please obtain permission from the author before submission.
* Must be consistent with the world and theme of the Apocalypse Blog.
If you have any questions about the Apocalypse Blog world or its characters, or if you have an idea for a post that isn’t covered by the above, please feel free to send the author an email. Melanie is happy to help you work out how to fit your idea into Faith’s journey!
Submission format:
Submissions should be emailed to the Apocalypse Blog in plain text or a Word document (.doc, not .docx please).
In the email, please include the following information (separate from the post):
- - Post title
- - Character’s full name
- - Description of the character (and any others travelling with the character)
- - How and where Faith obtains the story
- - Your name (or the name you wish to have the post credited to)
- - Your website (if applicable)
- - A brief bio paragraph about you (if desired, no more than three sentences).
You will receive an acknowledgement within a couple of days of submitting, and a reply within two weeks.
Guest posts will be published when the story allows, so there may be a delay between acceptance and appearance on the blog. The guest poster will be notified when the post is published.
Submitting a guest post gives electronic publication rights to the Apocalypse Blog. No payments are made for posts, and publication is not guaranteed upon submission. After 12 months, the post will be removed upon request from the guest post’s author. All copyright remains with the Apocalypse Blog.
